Acts 2: 42-47 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Life groups serve to live out God’s calling of a community that prays, encourages, and supports one another so that we may effectively serve his kingdom and our church’s mission.
Prayer: God works to mold us and lead us through prayer. The more we pray for each other, the clearer we see God and his calling and the more we grow.
Encouragement: Following God isn’t easy, that is why he created community to serve him together! May we encourage each other to seek God and confirm God’s calling in each other.
Support: Having accountability in your walk with God can be key, by discussing what God is doing in your life the group can help keep you on track to realize all he has planned for you.
Why should you join a Life Group?
-God calls his people to live the Christian life not just in the pews, but to journey deep in Christ together.
What will we be doing?
– We will meet once a week to pray, share what God is doing, apply Sunday’s message, read scripture, and speak into each others life’s spiritually.
When do Life Groups meet?
Typically we start up Life Groups in the fall and again in the new year. We offer 2-3 different times (usually after church on Sunday and 1-2 week nights). We are happy to schedule one of these so it works with your schedule!
