Joining us in celebration of Palm Sunday is a new friend of Hillcrest, Bishop Dick Bernal! Dick Bernal is a refreshing voice on the scene of contemporary Christian ministry. He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Jubilee Christian Center in San Jose, California, a church of nearly 12,000 members from all nationalities and backgrounds.
Pastor Bernal has written several other books including “Don’t Stop! Go Ahead!” which challenges every Christian to live a more successful Christian life and gives them the tools to do it. His book “Lifting Him Up” was co-authored with world-renowned worship leader Ron Kenoly on the interaction between pastors and worship leaders. His own pilgrim’s progress was put into print in the book “Kingdom Journey.”
Pastor Bernal has become a seasoned minister, spending over two decades pastoring, training ministers, and reaching nations through media and missions work. He is a remarkably gifted teacher who has the ability to lead people through the truths and mysteries of the Bible with incisive clarity. His messages are punctuated with humorous anecdotes and is known for his down-to-earth style that allows him to connect with people and speak life-changing truths into their lives.
