Ken Olson is a trusted leader known for his personal warmth, professional excellence, and deep spiritual maturity. Over the years, he has developed a diverse skill set that includes playing keyboard and guitar, coaching youth soccer, and leading worship in both Sunday services and small-group settings. Ken brings a steady presence, a great sense of humor, and a practical, faith-filled approach to ministry and leadership.
Professionally, Ken enjoyed a thriving and vibrant 18-year career at Big Lots, where he served as a senior manager overseeing nearly 20 full- and part-time associates. His experience in people development, operational leadership, and team building continues to shape the way he leads and serves today.
In ministry, Ken serves as Youth Director and Associate Worship Director at The Pointe and Campus Pastor at Hillcrest, where he is widely regarded as a spiritual father to many teenagers and young adults. He leads with authenticity, relational depth, and a shepherd’s heart, skillfully bridging spiritual insight with practical wisdom.
Ken is married to his wife, Rebecca, and together they are raising four wonderful children—two teenage boys and two younger children. He is deeply committed to his family and models integrity, faithfulness, and servant leadership in every sphere of life.
