Bruce Guckelberg, Ph.D.

Pastor

Hillcrest Church welcomes Bruce Guckelberg as their new pastor.  In June of 2019 Bruce and his wife Carol assumed the pastorate of Hillcrest Church as interim pastor.  Bruce is a 33 year veteran of ministry in Chicago, Sacramento, San Jose, Upstate New York, and now in Roseville.  Bruce also teaches at the Institute in Carmichael and has authored five books.  His most recent is a commentary on Philippians titled: “Philippians: Ridiculous Joy.”  He has also traveled in the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua training pastors and their key leaders.  Bruce has a passion for preaching God’s word and building the next generation of leaders.  His teaching is practical and relevant to everyday life.  The best thing to do is come and check it out.
