Each of the disciples had to come to the point where they believed that Jesus rose from the dead. John 20 describes how the disciples went through their own personal journey, which led them to resurrection faith. This kind of faith places no limitation on Jesus and turns fear into joy, sorrow into faith and leads to the conclusion that Jesus is Lord and God.
