Now about the collection for the Lord’s people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do. ²On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made. 1 Corinthians 16:1-2

And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all ³⁴that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales ³⁵and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.  Acts 4:33-35

Suggestions for Prayer

• Pray that each of us would be good stewards of our resources in supporting the church financially
• Pray that we would be good stewards of our facility
• Pray for pastor Bruce and others, as they work on renovating the building
• Pray that we would be sacrificial givers like the early church
• Pray that all the needs of Hillcrest church would be met
• Pray that each of us would have grateful hearts for the things God has given us
