Day 18 – October 26

Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. ³⁶When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. ³⁷Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. ³⁸Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

Suggestions for Prayer

• Pray that we would grasp the great need that exists in the Sacramento area for people to hear the gospel. A small percentage of people attend church in the metropolitan area (less than 10%).
• Pray that hurting people would come to Jesus through our ministries
• Pray that God would supply us with more workers to do outreach in our community
• Pray that we would be part of a plentiful harvest of souls at Hillcrest church
