Day 21 – October 29

⁷ Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. ⁸ Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. ⁹ Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. ¹⁰ Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

Suggestions for Prayer

• Pray that we would be totally submitted to God
• Pray that we would repent of those places in our lives that are not in line with God’s word
• Pray that the devil would flee from us
• Pray that each person would experience a closer walk with God
• Pray that God would purge each of us in any sinful ways
• Pray that God would impart a deep sense of humility to each of us
