After Jesus rose from the dead there was a period of 40 days, before his ascension, where he made at least 10 appearances to various disciples. These visits were of strategic importance because Jesus had to clean some things up with his disciples before they were mission ready. Today’s teaching shows how the disciples, especially Peter, failed miserably when Jesus was crucified. However, this was part of their training!
