Jesus rode into Jerusalem hearing the praises of the people as they welcomed him as their King. The Messiah made a statement in the way he presented himself to the people. The statement is that he is unlike any other king in world history. He made his appearance riding a donkey to demonstrate his humility and that he is the prince of peace.
