One critical aspect of Jesus’ ministry was raising up leaders to do the work of spreading the Jesus story. The gospels reveal how Jesus trained 12 men and later designated them apostles. They would be the ones who would carry on the work of telling the Jesus story after the Lord ascended to heaven and the Holy Spirit was sent. This teaching will focus on how it was that Jesus chose these 12 men to continue the work of spreading the gospel.
