“Restraining Evil”

Things in America seem to be out of control. There has been vandalism, violence, destruction of public and private property. There is a cry for justice in the cities of our country that has led to protesting over the tragic death of George Floyd. Some of our national monuments are being pulled down, hundreds of police have been injured, some killed and there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight. It looks like law and order is fading away. What is happening to our society? What does the Bible say about restraining evil that exists in the world? Are there God-given mechanisms in place that help to preserve peace and order? If so, what are they? Today’s message will answer these questions and more.
